How do I avail the Internet/Mobile banking facility?
The Internet/Mobile banking facility can be availed by submitting the application form at the branch.
What is the eligibility for Internet/Mobile banking facility?
All the literate accounts maintaining minimum balance are eligible for Internet/Mobile banking.
What are the charges for Internet/Mobile banking?
As of now, there are no charges for these facilities.
How do I receive the User ID/Password?
The User ID and password (PIN) for mBoB can be generated from the mBoB app itself. If further help is required, customers can call 1095(Within Bhutan) or +975-2-349903(If customer are calling from abroad).
Note – Customers will need to visit the branch only for Internet Banking credentials. Upon reaching the branch, they are required to fill in Additional Request Form to retrieve the credentials
be collected from the branch personally.
What if I forget my Internet banking User ID or Password?
In case you forget your User ID, send an email at [email protected] (to be finalized) mentioning your branch and account details. User ID will be E mailed to you. In case you forget your password, send an email at [email protected] (to be finalized) mentioning your User ID and requesting for fresh passwords. The new passwords will be send to your branch which you can collect personally.

The Internet Banking website is www.bob.bt
When does my mBoB get blocked?
When the wrong mPin is entered 3 times, your mBoB gets automatically blocked will get a popup message ‘Invalid Access Attempt Detected’. In that case, either you can reset mPin from the mBoB itself or can walk to the Branch office to reset the pin.

Why do i get ‘Currently Unavailable’ Error Message while accessing/trying to login to mBoB?
This happens mainly when your internet connection is unstable. When this happens, restart your device and try again. If that fails, check your phone Settings to check data has been enabled for mBoB App. To check, please follow the steps below:
For Android Devices:
- Go to Settings
- Select Apps/Application Manager/Default Apps/More Settings(This can vary depending on your device)
- From the list of apps, select mBoB
- Check whether Data has been enabled for mBoB
For IOS Devices:
- Go to Settings
- Select Cellular Data
- Scroll towards the bottom to view list of apps
- Check whether Data has been enabled for mBoB
Note – If all the above fails, you can access mBoB offline by dialing *262# or call 1095 for further help
How do I reset my M-Pin?
It can be reset by following the steps below from the mBoB Login Page.
- Enter your User Id, Registered Mobile Number and CID and click Generate OTP.
- OTP will be sent to you via SMS to your registered mobile number
- Enter OTP and then Click on Reset M-PIN
- You will receive 4 Digit MPIN via SMS
- Next login with the 4 digit MPIN and you will be directed to Default Change MPIN Page
- In the current MPIN field please enter the pin that you received via SMS
- New MPIN – Enter any 4 digit as per your wish
- Confirm New MPIN – Enter the same 4 digit pin that you entered in New MPIN field and Hit submit.
Note – The OTP will only be sent on your registered mobile number
How do I reset my T-Pin?
It can be reset by following the steps below once you are logged in to the mBoB App.
- Login to mBoB App using User ID and MPIN
- Tap on the Drop Down Menu on the top left hand corner(3 Lines Icon)
- Select Forgot T-Pin
- Enter Account Number and CID Number
- Tap on Generate OTP
- OTP will be sent to you via SMS to your registered mobile number
- Enter the OTP on the OTP Field
- Once OTP is entered, enter your New T-Pin you wish to set and re-enter the same below on the Confirm New T-Pin field
How do I retrieve my mBoB User ID?
It can be retrieved by following the steps below from the mBoB App.
- Open the mBoB
- Tap on Forgot User ID
- Enter Account Number and CID
- mBoB User ID will be sent on your registered mobile number
How do I access mBoB offline/without Internet?
You can dial *262# from your keypad to access mBoB Offline. Please note that this service will only work if you dial *262# on the registered number for mBoB.
How do I update/change my email address/mobile number for mBoB?
It can be done by visiting the nearest BoB branch if you are based in Bhutan. If you are based abroad, you will need to fill in mBoB Change Request Form which can be downloaded from our BoB Website under Value Added Service Forms. Once the form is filled, you can email the scan copy of the form to [email protected]
How do I update/change my email address/mobile number at the Account Level for transaction alerts and monthly e-statements?
It can be done by visiting the nearest BoB branch if you are based in Bhutan. If you are based abroad, you will need to fill in the Customer Information Change Form which can be downloaded from our BoB website under Customer Information Update/Change Form. You will also need to provide signature of a witness and CID copy of both and email the form and CID copies to [email protected]
What is the difference between Customer Information Change Form and Customer Information Update Form?
Customer Information Change Form is used to update specific Account Information such as your mobile number, email address or signature. However, Customer Information Update Form is used mainly to update your general Account Information such as your permanent address, your CID, etc.
What is BIRMS?
BIRMS stands for Bhutan Integrated Revenue Mangement System. mBoB is integrated with BIRMS system to facilitate various payment types.
What are the different payment services available under BIRMS?
Customer can pay the customs duty, custom declaration fees and charges, sales tax and property taxes for land, building and also the tax for the vacant land. Also the BIRMS payments can be availed through our Agency Banking/BoBConnect establishments.
