goBoB is a virtual wallet powered by Bank of Bhutan Limited through which a user can store his or her money for future online/offline transactions such as making utility bill payments and merchant payments. Its main objective is to achieve greater financial inclusion, promote cashless transactions and to bring every citizen into the financial ecosystem.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR goBoB WALLET?
You can download the goBoB application and can register instantly. However, you can also visit nearest BoB branch offices to register for the service.

CHARGES FOR USING goBoB
Registration is free. There are no charges for other services except for adding money from cards and transfer to bank accounts. A convenience fee of 3.5% will be charged while loading your wallet using cards and 2% will be charged while sending money to your bank accounts.
SECURITY
goBoB is very secure service. In fact, mobile wallets are much safer than carrying around your wallet. goBoB has multiple security such as fingerprint or M-Pin to login and T-Pin to authorize any transactions.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN goBoB AND mBoB
1. Simple and Instant Registration:
In goBoB, customer can register with valid mobile no. You do not need to have Bank account. Whereas, customer should have a saving account to register for mBoB
2. Target Customer:
Can facilitate seamless payment system (merchant payment) to Tourist whereas Tourist can not register for mBoB.
3. Key Features:
Key features of goBoB is Splitting of Bills and Request & Send money whereas mBoB focuses more on Account related features.
4. Age Eligibility:
Minors with a age ranging from 10-17 can register for goBoB and do basic minimal transactions whereas guardian have to undertake to enable transaction for minors in mBoB.
5. Wider Coverage:
Besides facilitating the service to mBoB users/BoB account holders, goBoB can cover non-BoB account holders besides covering the unbanked portion of the Nation.
Self-Register for goBoB
1. Open the downloaded goBoB App
2. Click on the ‘Sign Up Now’
3. Provide a Bhutan mobile number (Mandatory) and referral code (Optional). Please provide accurate details as per your passport.
4. Accept the terms & conditions and click on Sign Up
5. Enter the six-digit One Time Password (OTP) sent to the mobile number. The OTP is valid for 3 minutes only.
6. After validation, the customer will receive MPIN through SMS and the T-PIN shall be set by the customer. M-PIN is used to login while T-PIN is used to authorize the transaction.
Note: You will be prompted to change the default M-PIN for security reasons when your first log into the
app.
Limit Enhancement in goBoB
1.Open goBoB App
2.Go to “Settings”
3.Select ‘Request to enhance limit’
4. Enter details like Name, Date of birth, Passport Number and Email address which has to match with the registered record.
5.Tap on Arrow button
6. Clearly take a picture of your passport and enter T-PIN to submit the request
7. The following is the new transaction limit once limit enhancement request is validated and processed.
a. Daily Transaction Limit- Nu. 1,000,000/-
b. Daily Wallet Balance Limit- Nu. 2,000,000/-
c. Aggregated monthly Limit- Nu. 2,000,000/-
Add Money from international cards (VISA & MASTER)
1.Open goBoB App
2. Tap on the ‘Add Money’ option and select the ‘Cards’ option
3. Select the currency (INR or USD) and enter the amount (If selected USD, the current exchange rate will be auto-populated)
4.Tap on the arrow button
5. Enter T-PIN (It will direct to the payment gateway page where the customer needs to enter the card details)
6. Click on ‘Make Payment’ (An OTP will be generated and sent to the customer’s registered mobile number and/or email address registered with the issuer Bank)
7. Please complete the transaction within 5-minutes after the card details are provided.
How to Make Payments
1.Open goBoB App
2.Select Scan & Pay Option
3.Scan the QR Code
4.Review and confirm the transaction
5.Enter the T-PIN to authorize the payment
Refund Wallet Balance
1.Open goBoB App
2.Select ‘Send Money’ option
3.Choose the ‘Refund to Card’ Option
4. Enter the card number, select the currency (INR or USD), refund amount and email address.
5.Tap on Arrow button
6. Confirm the transaction details and enter the T-PIN to authorize.
7. Refund ID will be emailed once refund has been processed.
